Lu gave a seminar at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Birmingham, titled “Leveraging Nanotechnology to Develop Sustainable and Health-Promoting Foods.” The visit included a university and lab tour hosted by Zhenyu Jason Zhang.
During the visit, Lu learned more about advanced facilities and research in Formulation Engineering, Tribology, Soft Matter Physics, Pickering emulsions, bioactive encapsulation, and meat analogues. She also enjoyed discussions with Dr. Fotios Spyropoulos and Professor Bettina Wolf.
